Temara Melek Releases ‘Karma’s Not Pretty’
LA teen sensation, Temara Melek, is hotly tipped as the one to watch, with the release of her brand new single ‘Karma’s Not Pretty’– an infectious slice of teen pop/rock that packs a punch. It will be released by Straight FWD Records in late October during her performance of the Demi Lovato Concert “Neon Lights Experience” Temara co-wrote the single with ‘The Voice USA’ winner Cassadee Pope and was produced by the award-winning team, Stacy Jones and Mike Schmid, who have been influential in the rise of the career of Miley Cyrus.
Temara said, ‘In ‘Karma’s Not Pretty’ I am singing about a UK celebrity whose relationship didn’t end up with a happy-ever-after. I am basically warning him ‘what goes around comes around’ but in a fun way though… We’re still great friends.’
The video was shot in Los Angeles and features cameo appearances from Pretty Little Liars stars Keegan Allen and Gregg Sulkin. Temara is very excited for her Tematics to finally get a glimpse, ‘I had so much fun making the video and can’t wait for everybody to see it!’.
Temara has developed her musical prowess from a young age through acting, dancing, singing and modeling. Now she’s tipped to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift with LA Music Awards & BYOU picking her as one of their Hot Hollywood Teens to keep your eye on this year. Alongside that she has been nominated for an Album of the Year award at the 2013 LA Music Awards.
Recent signing to CAA’s Paul Fitzgerald who looks after the likes of One Direction and film guru Nick Styne who has a roster that includes Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Cameron Diaz keeps her in good company in the live domain.
Hot on the heels of the release of her new single, Temara will then kick off her UK nationwide “KARMA Tour” and will be touring UK, North America, Japan and S.Korea with dates due to be announced soon..
